Here's the first of those simple pinwheel blocks. I'm making these blocks out of fabric that I already had on hand in order to use my fabric stash wisely. Otherwise, I would have chosen fabrics with a little more contrast. Light, medium and dark will work well with these blocks, or even totally different colors of fabrics. In this case, I really have two dark fabrics and one light fabric and not enough overall contrast for my taste. Still, I think the finished top will be pretty and a nice way to utilize my stash.
